Being Content in the LORD's Provisions

I have been seeing this foolishness for quite sometime on commercials, Google advertisements, and so-called believers in Christ saying it is NOT a bad idea. I beg to differ. I am speaking about "Christian Mingle"

This is another attempt for wickedness to make Christ submit to the World & its view of what life should be. When I first saw the ad for this website, I thought about Genesis 6:2-4 "The sons of God saw the daughters of men and they were fair and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the LORD said my spirit shall not always strive within men.."

These scriptures are talking about the "mingling" between clean and unclean. Holiness and wickedness.

*Note: There is a myth that says "sons of God" were angels. However, in this context, it does not mean angels, it means those that children of God went for children of Satan & tried to mix the spiritual seed of clean and unclean. Consider: King Solomon and that he was a son of God... but his heart was turned away from God by choosing to have wives that believed in other gods (daughters of man). This was Satan's way of trying to distort the bloodline of The future Messiah, so that man could not be saved but it did not work, for God promised He would separate His seed from Satan's seed and it would be preserved, ultimately crushing Satan's head (Gen 3:15).*

Mingle: To Mix together; to move freely around a place

This is exactly what the sons of God did. They mixed, they moved freely without regard to God's command that His people are to stay separated from the world.

The entire idea of Christian Mingle is to mirror the world & it's standards of "relationship" - to encourage people to find their OWN mate when the bible NEVER had a marriage built on such a notion - to be impatient & unsatisfied in singleness - and to make it appear as if Psalms37:4 is speaking about anyone's heart, clean or not. God has NOT called everyone to an earthly marriage

Yes, I know many of you do not want to believe this statement BUT there are no scriptures in the bible that promise mankind a marriage on earth! Understand that although there is an urgency in this world to be married, so many people are not spiritually equipped to handle a marriage. Some people are so enamored by the thought of having a husband/wife that they are not realizing God could be protecting them from disaster.What about those whose purpose does not include marriage? Yet some are upset or disappointed that God has not shifted His plan to fulfill our desires? He knows what is right for us and when. Paul is a good example of someone being called to singleness. He even says in 1 Corinth 7:8 that is is good if everyone abide as him.. Single! Just look at all of the failed relationships & marriages because God had not YET called that person or people to marriage, or even more, had called them to a life of singleness. The heartache that could have been avoided if they only were content with God's plan for their lives.

 Domestic abuse (verbal, mental, emotional, spiritual abuse)
•  Babies out of wedlock or in wedlock yet the marriage was unequally yolked from the beginning, 
• Husbands killing their wives & children, wives killing their children and husbands because they married someone who didn't want children or they married for reasons outside of God's commands (clearly this person was not chosen by God)
• Men lacking integrity in work ethic and women allowing it, financially taking care of the man (which is against the Word of God - man is to be the worker, taking care of his wife)
• Men on the down-low or having a mistress & children outside of marriage
• Women experimenting with women
• Men marrying and cleave to his mother instead of the wife (direct violation of Matt 19:5)
And MANY MORE that show if people listened and waited for God, they would not be in these situations!!!!


This is not to discourage you from a relationship, for God knows who He has called to singleness & who He has called to have an earthly marriage. BUT I am saying, why are so many people caught up in this idea that they must be married here on earth, by a certain age or they are going to be lonely??? This simply is NOT God's view of it! For one, we are never lonely when we abide in Christ. He is our everything and without Him, we are nothing. Can't say the same about a earthly husband or wife now can we? NO! - Christ is to be everyone's focal point. He is the way, truth and life! If He sends someone to us, we will know it! Just like Abraham sent out his servant to bring back a wife for his son Issac because God instructed it.. SO will it be if God Has someone for you! God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He knows your needs and He provides. We do not NEED a husband/wife. Who we NEED is Jesus Christ, which for those that He has judged as righteous, will be our Husband anyway!



 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wait on God and be content if He has called you to a life of singleness. Finding a mate from a website is certainly not how God works. He is not a God that moves with the times, He doesn't need to modernize His approach to answering prayers! When and if God sends someone, you will know it. There will be nothing that you have to do to a husband/wife. Stay faithful in the LORD and He will provide as needed, rather he called you to be single or married!
