The "Black Power, Black Pride" Movement's attack on Christ

(A Post By Both)
We were not going to address The Black Hebrew Israelite Movement because we do not like giving the spirit of error ANY airplay. However, because there has been questions addressed to us about it on our twitter and in person, we will speak about it once & for all & give it no more attention. We will NOT be debating this matter on Twitter, Youtube or in person. This post proves it's point & that is as far as we will go with explaining.

The Doctrine of The Black Hebrew Israelites is biblically unfounded, in it's simplest terms. These people claim that Christ was Black & the tribe of Judah and every person from it is Black. They uphold the Apocrypha (a text not included in the cannon of the Holy bible but considered - by the Catholic church - as holy scriptures, beliefs include teachings of Purgatory which is NOT scriptural teachings) as God-inspired. Furthermore, any amount of examination of these texts prove that they do not agree with the Holy Bible. We know God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinth 14:33) so any writings inspired by Him will be cohesive and agree with one another. 2 Tim 3:16-17 and 2 Peter 1:20-21 tells us that the Holy Bible scripture was not from man's own thoughts or beliefs but from God having the Holy Spirit tell them what to document. This is how all scripture in the Holy bible fits & does not contradict itself, from OT to NT, centuries apart & 40 writers.

Now, for the dissertation of the Black Hebrew Israelite ideology:

"The Israelite Church of God in Jesus Christ... is divinely inspired and dedicated, with biblical scholars that are devoted to the spiritual, mental, & physical liberation of the 12 Tribes of the Nation of Israel.
The Holy Bible is the historical record book of the so-called Negroes and so-called Indians scattered throughout North, Central, South America, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Hispaniola, the West Indian Islands and all the lands throughout the four corners of the earth. The Holy Bible contains the prophetic and historical records of the Hebrew Israelites, describing what has happened to us as a people down through the ages and up until these times. God is revealing the keys to the mysteries of the Holy Bible to his true prophets (his chosen), in the last days, (which is now!). Read: Colossians 1:26, Matthew 13:10-17, 1st Corinthians 4:9, Jeremiah 18:1-10." - Message released by a member of the Black Hebrew Israelites (Ahbad) on http://www.theholyconceptionunit.org/

So, it is clear that Black Hebrew Israelite beliefs are built on the listed scriptures located at the closing of their statement. first listed is Col 1:26, which says "Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to His saints:"

This scripture is speaking of God's saints, those that believe on Him. But let us go to v27 which says "To whom God would make known what is the riches of glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory"

Col 1:26, when accompanied by it's companion, v27 - is explaining to us that the mysteries or things unknown of God are revealed to those who Christ lives in. Who does Christ live in? Well John 6: 54-56 tells us "Whoever eats my flesh and drink my blood has eternal life and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He who eats my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in him" - Christ is telling us whoever comes to Him will not be denied, nor will they have to worry about not being spiritually filled (See John 6:35). Paul tells us in Galatians 3:28 "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female. For ye are all one in Christ Jesus" - Which means race, demographic location, financial/social status, nor gender will separate one from another NOR ESTEEM ONE OVER THE OTHER if they abide in Christ.

Well, this clearly discredits any argument about Black people being God's chosen - and instead - proves that the ONLY way to be "chosen" is to have the testimony of Jesus Christ & Keep the Commandments of God (1 John 5:3). But lets go further into The Black Hebrew Israelite's reasoning for such an Anti-Christ philosophy.

The next scripture in their statement is Matt 13:10-17, which says "And the disciples came and said unto Him (Jesus) Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He (Jesus) answered and said unto them because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven but to them it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. therefore speak i to them in parables; because they, seeing not and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias (Isaiah) which saith by hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see and not perceive. For this people's heart is waxed gross and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest at anytime they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and should understand with their heart, and shall be converted and I shall heal them. For verily I say unto you, many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see and have not seen them, and to hear those things which ye hear and have not heard them"

Again, Christ is speaking to His chosen (then & now), telling them that only those that abide in Him will understand the mysteries of God and those that do not, won't understand. This puts us in the mind of 1 Tim 4:1-2 and 2 Tim 4:3-4 when Paul warned us that many will listen to doctrine of Satan, turn their ears away from sound doctrine (i.e., following ungodly texts like the Apocrypha) & because of their wicked desire to hear what matches the imaginations of their carnal mind, they will gather only the advice that makes them feel good because it compliments THEIR ideas. Titus 3:9 flat out states " But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies (i.e. Blacks are the TRUE Israelites from the tribe of Judah, which in no wise can be proven by man) and contentions (argument & hostility) and striving about the law (doing works in thought that it will EARN salvation), for they are unprofitable and vain." Wow! Thanks Paul, we could not have called this philosophy out ANY better!

Next, the statement gives 1 Corinth 4:9, which says "For I think that God hath set forth us as apostles last, as it were appointed unto death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels and to men" - The word spectacle in this context is referring to the Roman Theater, or arena, in which spectators gathered to see gladiators fight until one or both died. Here, Paul is saying the apostles are in a world that is desperately fighting against any notion of truth and will oppose it until they kill those sent by God (yet will be glorified by God by standing for Him til the end).. A similar example of what Christ said in John 15:18-23 and Matt 16:25 - that the World hates Christ, which is the ONLY truth, anyone that speaks it & those that physically die for the truth will ultimately gain life again, this time - everlasting - which reigns true to those that are sent forth by God to minister the Gospel of His Kingdom. HOWEVER, The Black Hebrew Israelite members are NOT apostles sent out by Christ, they are FALSE apostles, sent forth to pretend God sent them & teach distortions (2 Corinth 11:13).

The last supposed "justification" for The Black Hebrew Israelite Movement's philosophy comes from Jeremiah 18:1-10 - which is speaking of God's power over his creation. God is able to rise up/bless and tear down/destroy whatever he makes (people, nations, kingdoms). It is foolish for man to think otherwise & dispute this, just as it would be foolish for clay to argue with the potter (as the metaphor given in that text). Yet God is full of goodness & mercy, allowing those walking in darkness to repent & allow Him to cleanse their hearts, mold them into what His Will should have them be. However, His same law can & will condemn those that refuse to heed His teachings. They probably chose this text because it refers to the house of Israel and of course, they believe they are Israelites.. Well lets see what the truth has to say about their distortion of scripture In Gal 3:29 (continuation of our aforementioned point) - Paul discredits the notion that race, gender, economic/social status places anyone in a position to be "chosen" but rather, the chosen are those that follow the Will of God through faith in Jesus Christ (Gal 3:26-28) - v29 tells us "And if ye be Christ's, then ye be Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise".... WOAH! That knocks out every piece of their doctrine. This says that no matter what race you are, if you have faith in Jesus Christ, then you are a child of God.. And you are a child of God, then you are baptized in Christ & have put on Christ ... And if you put Him on (meaning, you wear the promises of Christ, His bloodline & anything else concerning His mercy & grace), then no earthly division can keep you from inheriting His promise! Oh well, that bury's any notion that race matters in the Eyes of God....

Now of course, there are so many other ideologies this cult holds (and I say cult because these members are indoctrinated) that are mainly rooted in the OT, as physical descriptions of black people in the bible. It really is not worth mentioning but We will address this one, which is the description of Jesus Christ, found in Rev 1:13-16. This is said to be what Christ looked like. And yes it is... But this was not His earthly form. Meaning, while he was preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God here on earth, he did not look like this! This text is speaking about His glorified body... How do we know this was not his earthly appearance? In Isaiah 53:3, we see the ONLY recorded description of Christ, which says "...and when we shall see Him, there is no beauty that we shall desire Him" - Yet we know the view of Him in rev 1:13-16 is something magnificent, if not beautiful - definitely a sight to see that we'd be drawn to! So why the contradiction? Well, there is no contradiction... On earth, Christ was an any average looking person of that time. Yet, once He was glorified of the Father, His appearance displayed that. This was a heavenly-Spiritual body of Christ that was seen by John, NOT Christ's earthly physical appearance.

*Those that have the mind of Christ (1 Corinth 2:16) do not set out to prove that a race of people are a chosen people of God (when the bible clearly states that only those who submit to Christ & do His will are the chosen), which produces haughtiness, pride & carnally motivated justifications. Any action contrast to this is explained in Rev 22:19*
